This campground is situated in a beautiful countryside location and is well taken care of by the friendly and generous owners. The sites are small and a bit close together, but level with usual hookups and a picnic table. The roads and sites have some erosion due to recent rain, but the owners are working hard to repair it. The clubhouse, restrooms, and laundry room are clean but old and tired. There are a few amenities such as a TV, darts, and a pool table, as well as coin-operated washers and dryers. The access roads are a bit hilly, and the curves are sharp, so be careful when departing. The rates are doubled during the eclipse, but the Passport America rate makes it worth it.

From The Campground

Tennessee Country Campground & RV Park LLC is located at Exit 56 on Interstate 75 in Niota, Tennessee, approximately halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville in McMinn County. The campground offers 20, 30, and 50 amp electric on all sites with city water, sewer, and free wifi. Also on the property are men's and ladies' restrooms with showers, a coin-op laundry with two full-size washers and dryers, and an office building with a large front porch with rocking chairs and a bench seat swing. Inside the building is a large screen TV, dartboard, and coin-op regulation-size pool table. The campground has a fire ring for community campfires, which are often held on Friday or Saturday nights when weather permits. The campground is open all year for overnight guests as well as short-term and long-term guests. The grassy area for tent camping is very near the restroom facilities, and tent campers are welcome. The campground is pet-friendly, but guests are asked to pick up after their pets. The owners live on the property.
