This campground is an ideal location for those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The sites are close and the ground is soft dirt with sticker burrs and ants. Water and Sewage are included in the monthly rate and electric is charged at a metered rate. There is a cement pad that is cracked but flat enough for chairs and a BBQ. There is a new rec hall with tiled restrooms, shower, exercise room and kitchen facilities. The owners are friendly and the manager is great. There is a lot of construction workers camped here and a lot of activities within a 2 hour drive. Fishing is great in close proximity to the campground. Be careful of the sticker burrs and enjoy your stay!

We RV Champions of Rio Hondo is a well-kept and clean campground located in Rio Hondo, TX. The campground offers long-term and short-term stays for RVs and campers. We are a pet-friendly RV park, but pets must be walked on a leash, cleaned up after, and may not disturb other guests. There is a 2-pet limit per site. Pets are the responsibility of the owner. We offer amenities such as clean bathrooms, game room with books and DVDs to borrow, and decent WiFi. We also have some seasonal spots still open. Payment is accepted by check, cash, Visa or MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Returned checks will be charged a $30.00 service fee.
