What others are saying about this campground
Hackberry Hollow State Park is a small campground with 20 electric/water sites, a few tent-only sites, cabins and a group picnic area. There are a variety of activities available, including boat rentals, fishing, live music, food, wine and trails. The only downside is a septic holding tank located 40 feet from some sites that can be smelly. The campground is based around a small lake with a swimming beach and fishing dock. Sites are close together, but the bathrooms are well-kept and spotless. AT&T has 2 bars of LTE and the Wifi works outside of office hours. There is a volleyball court and half basketball court, and paddle boats and canoes can be rented in the summer. A nice, quiet spot for a few days or a stopover.
