It is also a short drive away from Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The check-in process is hands-off and done through a tablet in the laundry room. The pricing is very affordable and the location is quiet. The park has laundry facilities and bathrooms which are kept clean, but there are no picnic tables or fire rings. The sites are nice and neat and there is plenty of space between them. There is no shade, but the views of the open fields and cows are stunning. It is located about 20 miles outside of Amarillo and is the perfect spot for those looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway.
