Being able to drive to the beach, wildlife areas, and state parks is a plus. Wi-fi is available, but spotty, with the best signal at the clubhouse. Woody Acres RV Park is a well-maintained campground with a friendly atmosphere. It has a heated pool and hot tub, and offers activities such as potlucks, bingo nights and theme dances. The staff are attentive and the maintenance staff work hard to keep the park looking great. There are 20 spots available for travelers and the fees are reasonable. The Wi-Fi signal is weak and some of the sites are unlevel, but the park is close to the ocean and the people are friendly. Recent improvements include more washers in the laundry and trees and shrubs being trimmed to make sites more accessible to large rigs.

Woody Acres RV Resort is a pet-friendly RV site located on the Texas Gulf Coast, just 7 minutes away from beautiful Rockport Beach on Aransas Bay. The resort offers full hook-up RV sites, fully-furnished cabin rentals, and even annual homes. Guests can enjoy fantastic waterfront views and shaded RV sites, as well as amenities such as a heated pool, Whirlpool hot tub, enclosed dog run, and billiards room. The resort also hosts a variety of activities for guests to enjoy, in addition to weekly campground happenings. The Texas Gulf Coast offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, swimming, and golfing, as well as shopping, dining, museums, art, and beaches.
