What others are saying about this campground
Lake Casa Blanca International State Park is a popular park on weekends, where many families picnic and grill. The campsites have nicely spaced, covered picnic tables, but there can be a lot of traffic around campsites during the evening. While most campsites are not level, some are pull through and private. The park is upgrading roads and parking lots. There is only one available bath house, but cell service is good. Birding is a popular activity here. The land is scrubby with a few paths and some plants labeled. Vistas allow for glimpses of the lake, and there are picnic areas along the lakeside. Overall, the park is a nice place with lots of room between sites, and it would be a great spot for fishing.

From The Campground
Lake Casa Blanca International State Park is a lakeside park located in Laredo, Texas, just minutes from the Mexican border. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities such as water-skiing, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking, picnicking, bird watching, geocaching, and camping. The park has trails for mountain-biking and hiking that take visitors through beautiful and varied landscapes. The park also has a swim area, playgrounds, a baseball field, and tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. All campsites have water and electricity; some have sewer hookups, too. The park also offers picnic pavilions and group halls for gatherings of 35 to 200 people. Visitors can fish for largemouth or hybrid striped bass, crappie or catfish from the fishing pier or boat ramp. The park also loans fishing gear for use in the park. Park rangers lead programs on birding, geocaching, fishing and more. The park is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
