What others are saying about this campground
This campground is a great option for a short stay in the area. The sites are small but the price is good and the park is clean and well-maintained. There are concrete pads, paved entry roads, and plenty of trees. The water pressure is great and there is a nice little pond. Unfortunately, the park is closing on Jan 1, 2017, so be sure to take advantage of it while you can. There are no picnic tables, fire rings, or other amenities, but there is free cable TV and WiFi, and Verizon cell and Aircard worked well. Some noise was noticed from the nearby highway and traffic was heavy at times. The sites are close together on the cell tower side, so be aware of that when maneuvering around. The big noise maker in the area is the catholic church nearby.

Open year-round, the park offers guests nice concrete level RV sites that can accommodate today's modern RVs. The park is complete with clean restrooms and laundry facilities. While here, be sure to get out a bit and explore this unique part of Texas. The Gun Barrel City area offers visitors shopping opportunities, many various restaurants, outdoor recreation, movie theater, July Fest and more.
