Falcon State Park is a beautiful park located along the Texas-Mexico border. The park offers a variety of activities including fishing, swimming, camping, bird watching, water skiing, boating, geocaching, hiking, and relaxing. Visitors can stay at a campsite, shelter, or cabin. The park has 2.8 miles of trails, a recreation hall, and a butterfly garden. The 84,000-acre Falcon International Reservoir is a popular spot for fishing, with anglers mainly catching largemouth bass and channel catfish. The park also offers ranger-led programs on the birds, animals, and plants of the park.
