Big Bend Resort & Adventures is a good base camp for exploring Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park. While there is dust and dirt due to the desert location, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great with a nearby grocery store and numerous restaurants. The resort offers hookups, 50/30amp, water, and sewer access as well as scenic views. The power is occasionally unreliable due to regional issues, but the new management is rumored to be making improvements such as installing a backup generator and site-wide WiFi. The only current drawbacks are lack of WiFi and coin-op showers. Despite this, it is a solid option if you cannot find camping within the parks.
