The park is exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the hosts are wonderful. The laundry facilities are great, and there are plenty of opportunities to explore the creek and look for turtles. The sites are not particularly level front-to-back, but you can make it work with enough blocks. There have been lots of renovations with the addition of concrete pads and patios, plastic coated metal picnic tables, and cement and dirt pathways for biking, running, and walking. The only downside is the entrance road, which is about a mile of gravel and can create a dust storm when entering and exiting the facility. The on-site wifi is so-so, and cell and wifi service can be weak, but the people are friendly, the park is pretty and clean, and the sky is open for star-gazing. There is a convenient store on site and campground fires every Saturday. Hidden Valley RV Park is a great place for travelers, with easy access to San Antonio and the surrounding area.

Hidden Valley RV Park is a family operated campground located in the heart of South Texas, just outside of San Antonio. The park offers a 'no frills' country style of camping that includes all of the basic amenities, such as 30 or 50 amp service at all full hook up sites, clean bath houses with large full-sized showers, modern laundry facility, free Wi-Fi at all sites, and more. The park is open year round and welcomes wintering Texans, snowbirds, overnight campers, seasonals, and local RVers looking for a close-to-home RV retreat. Hidden Valley RV Park is also a great place for visitors of children and grandchildren graduating from Lackland Air Force Base Training Center, as well as those temporarily employed near San Antonio or using the nearby military medical facilities. The park offers a virtual tour of San Antonio upon your arrival, with maps, directions, parking suggestions, and insider tips to enjoy the city. The park also has a private Medio Creek area for fishing and hiking opportunities, as well as loads of great dog walking roads and paths and an off leash dog park.
