Park on the Lake is a campground located on the beautiful Lake Conroe in Texas. It offers immediate water access right behind your RV, and features a fenced dog walk area and child playground. While the entrance road is pot hole infested, the park is making an effort to minimize potholes and maintain dirt/gravel roads. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground is very clean. There is a swimming pool and a tent camping area, as well as a hot tub. Unfortunately, the camp bathrooms have no paper products or light bulbs. The sites are small and crowded, and the park could use more garbage dumpsters. Fishing is available, and Passport America members can take advantage of discounted rates.
