The campground features a good size pool with a large spa, newly updated restrooms, paved roads, and sites that are level left to right although low in front. The RV sites are limited to under 34 ft and the sewer connection is under the rig, making it convenient for travelers. The campground also has a nice fitness center and ballroom with line dancing classes. There are several areas for hiking and biking nearby, as well as boating and fishing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campground is mostly quiet. Fresh oranges, lemons, and grapefruit are available when ready to pick. Pets are allowed, but must be walked in the middle of the road to avoid going in other peoples campsites.

Golden Sun RV Resort is an age-qualified (55+) campground that offers RV campsites and rental accommodations. The campground requires a mandatory two-night reservation for weekends and three nights for holidays. Single-night midweek campsite reservations may be booked. The campground allows pets with a maximum of two pets per site. Utility fees will be assessed in accordance with current metering and fee collection standards. A $50 utility deposit is required for stays of 30 days or more. The campground offers full refunds for cancellations up to two days prior to arrival date for daily and weekly reservations for RV campsites and seven days prior to arrival date for rental accommodations. For long-term reservations (28 days or longer), the campground allows full refunds for cancellations up to 60 days prior to arrival date. The campground offers amenities such as local weather updates, nearby RV resorts, and a mobile app for reservations.
