Butterfield RV Resort is a great campground with lots of amenities and a convenient location. It is close to Tombstone, a grocery store, and has easy access for 40’ motorhomes. The sites are blacktop and there is a pickleball court, three dog areas, a pool, hot tub, activities, and an onsite observatory. The observatory has a university grade 15 inch reflective telescope and nightly shows. Other amenities include golf driving nets, putting green, rec room, club house and kitchen, library, fitness center, and a pet policy that does not discriminate. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even play the star spangled banner and tap on a trumpet at the end of each evening. The only downside is the noise from the train and car traffic, as well as the sites being too short and sloped.
