Rancho Verde RV Park is a smaller park located near Hwy 260 in Camp Verde. The size of the lots is good, and it is easy to maneuver around the park and into sites. All lots are at an angle so there is no one directly behind you. The park roads are paved and the sites are gravel with grass; their color is brown due to the drought. The hookup facilities are good, and the park has fun amenities, including a pool and hot tub. The park is located conveniently near everything and is a perfect base camp for Montezuma, Tuzigoot, and Out of Africa. It is a clean park overall and has some nice shade trees. A lot of the residents are long-term, but their sites are nicely maintained, and they are very welcoming. The park can be a bit confusing to find as you will pass another RV resort while winding through some neighborhoods to get to it. Nonetheless, the check-in process was quick, and the person doing it was very nice.
