Dateland is a basic campground located in the middle of nowhere, offering dirt lots and roads for an overnight stay with water and electricity hook ups. The campground is incredibly cheap and the Dateland center nearby has plenty of provisions. The train runs close by every 15-30 minutes and can be loud, but there are no crossings in the area so the trains dont have to blast their air horns. There are full hook ups that work well, trees and bushes for shade, and a Pizza Hut and ice cream at the travel center. The showers have rugs that should be replaced with plastic mats that drain. It is a great place for an overnight stay and the owner is from Canada.
