From The Campground

Marshall Lake Campground is a primitive camping site located in Coconino National Forest. The campground is situated near a small marshy lake that is home to various waterfowl and wildlife. The area is managed in partnership by Ducks Unlimited and the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The lake is stocked with trout during wet cycles and provides a hunting site for resident ospreys and a rest stop for migrating waterfowl. The campground offers exceptional views of the peaks from pine sheltered locations. The surrounding area also serves as a good place to come to see some of this area's plentiful elk or its rare wintering bald eagles. The campground is open from early May to mid-October.
