Woody Mountain Campground is nestled in a forest-like area with red dirt roads and sites. Although sites vary in size, most were easy to enter with room for an extra vehicle and relatively level. The sites are closely spaced and all have picnic tables. Water, sewer, electric (30A) hookups are available at most sites. While the water pressure was low, all hookups worked well. There are restrooms in two locations, with coded showers included, and the laundry room has four washers and six dryers with good heat. Free WiFi is available, but faster WiFi can be purchased for an additional fee. The park is quiet, and amenities include a small dog lot with a tunnel and a ball. A short hiking trail is convenient for walking dogs. Verizon service was decent with an average of 3 bars of 5G. Overall, the park is nice, although some sites may be pretty tight.
