From The Campground

Chevelon Crossing is a scenic and historic canyon area. Built originally by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, the campground is situated along Chevelon Creek. The campground has seven campsites with tables and fire rings, and seven dispersed camping sites with tables and fire rings. There are no trash collection services available, so visitors must pack out their trash. The campground is open year-round, with spring and fall receiving the most use. There is no fee to camp, and the campground is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
