The park is under new ownership and they are actively making improvements and adding more sites. The sites are level gravel pull-throughs with full hookups, and some have cement slabs for use as a patio and dividers for added privacy. The water is in an insulated box, but it is easy to access. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the showers have hand soap and paper towels. The campground offers Wi-Fi and Verizon service, and the night sky is full of stars. The camp host, Allen, is very friendly and helpful, and the Cowboy Butte Grill is a great place to eat. The park is secure and there is no need to worry about leaving belongings unattended.
