Country Rose RV Park is a small, no-frills campground located in Fredonia, Arizona, just 7 miles south of Kanab, Utah. It is a great base for exploring the nearby attractions, such as the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Lake Powell. The park is under new ownership and they are actively making improvements and adding more sites. The sites are level gravel pull-throughs with full hookups, and some have cement slabs for use as a patio and dividers for added privacy. The water is in an insulated box, but it is easy to access. The bathrooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the showers have hand soap and paper towels. The campground offers Wi-Fi and Verizon service, and the night sky is full of stars. The camp host, Allen, is very friendly and helpful, and the Cowboy Butte Grill is a great place to eat. The park is secure and there is no need to worry about leaving belongings unattended.
