Jacob Lake Campground is a great place for RV campers looking for a full hookup site. The campground staff is excellent and very helpful during check-in. Across the road from the campground is NF land, which has trails and is great for dog walking. The pedestals are relatively new, and both 50/30 amp service is available. However, the Verizon signal and spacing on RV sites can be weak, and it can be pricey (although they offer $25 dry camping sites). Unfortunately, theres not much shopping nearby, and the water pressure is low, and they wont let you fill your tanks there. Fall is a great time to visit this area, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon NP is close by. The lodge across the street from the campground has a gift shop with great prices, and the restaurant serves good food. Also, its easy to drive to see many landmarks nearby, like Kaibab National Forest, Lees Ferry, Vermillion Cliffs, and more. The campground is always clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
