What others are saying about this campground
Kaibab Camper Village is a lovely and rustic RV park located in a peaceful and restful setting in Fredonia, AZ. It is the closest RV park to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, which is a huge plus if you plan on visiting the area. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the staff is very accommodating. The park offers well-spaced sites with enclosed fire pits, and the trees on the property are well-maintained. The bathroom facilities are clean and are serviced daily, and there is a water spigot available to fill containers or tubs. While the location is off the highway, it is not too loud. The park sits at an altitude of 7400 feet, which means that it stays comfortably cool in the summer. There are 6% grade climbs on US89A from either direction, so be prepared. Water pressure is only 30lbs and they have to truck in water, so please conserve. The power went off every night for several hours, but this is common for the area during thunderstorms. There is no WiFi, cable TV, or OTA TV, but it is possible to get a SAT TV signal and many people bring their own Starlink setup. The cellular signal is good with 2 bars of AT&T LTE and 1 bar of Verizon 4G. The roads are plenty wide enough for big rigs, and while the forest service road to the entrance can be bumpy and muddy, it is navigable. Overall, Kaibab Camper Village is an excellent choice for a peaceful and relaxing camping experience.
