This RV park is situated in Globe, Arizona and offers a great location for exploring the area. The lower park features lots of trees, relaxed atmosphere and easy walking access to main street Globe and Safeway. There is a newly remodeled batting cage if you feel the urge to hit some balls. The local units are tidy, the people nice and the place pretty quiet. The customer service was great, and its a bargain at the Passport America rate. The sites have water and electric 30 amp hookups, and the free wifi is very fast and easy to get from your rig. The bridge into town is fenced off, suggesting a security problem, and the train horns can be quite noisy, but they seem to stop running around 11pm. Big rigs can fit in the park, but you need to figure out a way to do a Uturn within the park, to drive the opposite direction, so you can back into your site. There is a Passport America discount only from May to December.

Gila County RV Park & Batting Range is a family-owned and operated campground located in Globe, AZ. The campground offers three batting cages, a picnic area, and a concession stand. They also provide grass tent spaces for RV guests, with free Wi-Fi and quick access to the owner who lives on site. The facilities include a laundry room, beautiful shower and restroom facility, and a dump for guest use. Coaches receive a discount to bring teams in for practice. The campground is conveniently located on HWY 60, near downtown Globe, and is the perfect spot for tourists to see the area and contractors to stay.
