The campground offers stunning views of the Toroweap Overlook and the Colorado River. Visitors can enjoy hiking on two established trails, Tuckup Trail and Saddle Horse Loop Trail, both offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. The campground is situated at an elevation of 4500ft on the Esplanade, a high desert area with mild winters and hot summers.
