From The Campground
Reef Townsite Campground is a small, rustic campground located in the Coronado National Forest. The campground offers 14 campsites for tent and trailer camping, with some sites being barrier-free. The campground is situated in a cool mountain setting and offers shaded sites. The campground also features an interpretive history trail, hiking and horseback trails, and watchable wildlife. The Reef Townsite Group Site can accommodate one group of up to 50 people and features a picnic shelter with six picnic tables, two large group barbecue grills, and two food preparation tables. The group site also has toilets, a parking area, and a large shaded area for tents. The campground is accessible to persons with disabilities and has vault toilets. Reservation is required for the day-use group site only, and it can be reserved in advance online at www.recreation.gov.
