Islander RV Resort is one of the nicest RV parks in Lake Havasu with large, gravel sites that are quite spacious, although there is little shade. The resort has clean bathrooms and showers, and there are lots of activities for guests such as games night, bingo, and crafts. The beach is fabulous, and paddleboarding in the bay is an enjoyable way to cool down. The park staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is wonderful, thanks to the pleasant residents. While the resort is filled with permanent small double-wide trailer homes, there are a limited number of excellent spots on the water with spectacular views, including a beach, and a walkway. On the other hand, the majority of the sites have no view of anything but other long-time campers. The campground is mostly paved with concrete and asphalt, with little natural landscaping. Upon arrival, guests receive a long list of park rules to follow that can sometimes be quite restrictive, and there is only one spot in the entire park to empty your trash. Islanders RV Resort is fantastic, but it isnt a dog-friendly park, so visitors should take this into account when planning their stay.
