Prospectors RV Resort is a great campground for those looking for the basics. The park is close to a new Wal-Mart shopping mall, but far away from other grocery stores or attractions. The gravel sites have concrete patios and picnic tables, and the nightly rate reflects a Camp Club USA discount. There is good cable TV and Wi-Fi, and two large filling stations/travel centers near I-40 with cheaper gas prices. Unfortunately, the park is a large gravel pit with no grass or trees, and some of the full-timers possessions are beginning to make it look a bit trashy. Make sure to wear sunscreen and take plenty of water and Gatorade to the pool, as the owner says the 108-degree heat is cool for this time of year.
