This campground is the perfect spot for a stopover after an afternoon of exploring the Valley of Fire. The sites are level and clean, with adequate space, great utilities, and wifi. There are plenty of trees providing shade and allowing for roof top satellite reception. The laundry facility is clean and reasonably priced, and there is a dog park with solar lighting and daily poop trash can emptying. The clubhouse has a pool table, big screen TV, kitchen, and community computer with internet access. The campground is in need of some TLC, but the management staff is excellent and the facilities are super clean and quiet. There is nothing in Beaver Dam, but Mesquite, NV is a much better option for extended stays.

Chief Sleep Easy RV Park is a quiet, pet-friendly, adult park that caters to long-term RV enthusiasts. They have 72 spacious sites with full hook-ups, hi-speed WIFI, and both 30 and 50 amp. The park is well-tended and considered the cleanest in the area. They have three clean showers, two modern and clean laundry facilities with a total of six washers and six dryers, and a clubhouse with big screen satellite TV and video player, pool table, guest kitchen area, and patio. They encourage guests to bring their pets, with a limit of two pets, and there is no extra charge for them, however, they do limit dogs to non-aggressive breeds. They accept overnighters when space is available and believe that guests will enjoy staying at Chief Sleep Easy RV Park, “Where old friends meet”.
