Pinal County Park is a great spot for primitive desert camping. With no amenities, visitors should come prepared to dry camp. All but one or two sites are pull-through with shade ramadas, picnic tables, and BBQ grills. The park is well-maintained, but during the rainy season, be prepared for some washouts. The park is located close to I-8 and the Sonoran National Monument, but highway noise is minimal. The sites are spacious and offer a great view of the desert landscape and nearby mountains. The camp host is friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms are clean and stocked. The park offers a 14 day limit and $10 per night for standard sites. There is no water, fuel, or food available onsite, but the nearby town of Stansfield has a Circle K and Family Dollar. This park is a great spot for a one to two day boondocking experience, but visitors should be aware of the lack of services and the potential for criminal activity in the area.

West Pinal is a 160 acre community park located near the community of Stanfield, Arizona. It offers 3 miles of natural surface walking/hiking trails, views of the Table Top Wilderness area, and a beautiful dark sky environment. The park features bathrooms and garbage facilities. Nearby activities include biking, golfing, hiking, historic sites, horseback riding, museums, OHV trails, restaurants, shopping, and wildlife watching.
