Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area is a wetland conservation area located in southeastern Arizona. It is known for being a major roost site for Sandhill Crane, and offers excellent viewing of other waterfowl and wetland bird species. The area is managed by AZGFD and consists of wetland with riparian and grassland habitats. Common animals in the area include mule deer, javelina, coyotes, bobcats, desert cottontails, and black-tailed jackrabbits. Visitors can enjoy wildlife viewing and photography, and there is a seasonal closure on hunting during the crane hunt, which typically falls in November-early December.
