Red Mountain Park is a 55+ community campground located in Mesa, Arizona. It is a clean and friendly campground with a variety of amenities including swimming, spa, tennis courts, ladder ball, Lapidary shop, exercise and computer rooms. The campground has strict rules regarding motor homes, and no open fires or picnic tables are allowed. The campground is close to Falcon Field, a small airport, and is close to Mesa for anything one may need. There is an escort to your site, a large pool and whirlpool, 8 shuffleboard courts and an active center with a lot going on. There is a heavy emphasis on social activity and clubs for 55 year olds who like country western. The campground also offers excellent food that Cal-Am catered, and the manager had gifts and provided a wonderful dance afterward. Unfortunately, the campground can be noisy due to the planes and helicopters flying overhead and the maintenance workers talking loudly in the morning.
