This campground is a great choice for those looking for a safe and secure environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is located close to Laughlin NV, the AVI Indian Casino, and big box stores, making it a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing. The sites are a bit tight, but are large enough to accommodate slides and awnings. The campground is working hard to improve its unreliable wifi and there is a nice pool, but no playground or game room. It is not the most aesthetically pleasing campground, but it is a great value for the money and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a $100 deposit required for reservations, and it is advised to keep the sheriff department number handy for protection.

The resort is surrounded by exciting things to do, including kayaking, fishing, boating, wake-boarding, and golfing. The beautiful Colorado River is just one short mile away. The resort offers oversize 30/50-amp full hook-up “Big Rig” pull-through & back-in sites, a beautiful heated pool, large clubhouse, immaculate restrooms & showers, modern laundry facility, and a convenience store & gift shop right on-site. Starting September 1, 2021, Moon River RV Resort will be a 55+ RV Resort.
