The park is an excellent location, and its close to the town and numerous area tours. The tent pitches are on sand, and each area has an electric point, a water tap and a picnic bench. Facilities are clean, well maintained, and include a great laundry area. While some reviewers mention that the showers are a bit old and some dont always work, cleaning takes place regularly. Staffing has received praise for being friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Visitors who are more particular about their camping conditions, however, may feel that the park is adequate, at best, and lacking in amenities. Additionally, some have noted that the roads can be narrow and dusty, and the turns can be difficult, especially when attempting to park in a back in spot.
