HSR is a beautiful campground located right on the lake. It offers easy access to the water, beaches, and a launch ramp. The facilities are nice and the staff is great. The nightly rate is reasonable, but bring everything you need as you cant rely on other campers nearby. The campground is a little crowded, but if you go off-road you will find plenty of secluded coves. There is no Verizon service or reliable internet, but there are lots of activities in the nearby area, including the London Bridge and shops. Unfortunately, there can be loud stereos and drunken parties, and golf carts and ATVs racing on the gravel roads until early hours. The campground is part of the Colorado River Adventures (CRA) system and they are in the process of upgrading the facilities.
