La Paz County Park is a great destination for campers looking for a peaceful getaway near the Colorado River. The park is located in Parker, Arizona and offers tent camping, RV sites with electric and water hookups, and dry camping spots. The sites that back into the water are only for rigs with generators and/or solar power, but they offer spectacular views of the river. Verizon service is spotty, but the park offers wifi. There is no septic at the site due to its proximity to the river, but a truck comes in once a week to empty tanks. The park is not bikeable to town, but it is a great place to explore the surrounding parks and Lake Havasu area.
