What others are saying
Roadrunner Campground in Lake Pleasant Regional Park is a great place to enjoy all that the desert has to offer. The campsites are spacious and provide a sense of privacy, while also offering spectacular views of the lake. With paved parking pads, ramadas for shade, picnic tables, barbecue grills, and fire rings, each site has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy activities like stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, and biking on the many trails that the park has to offer. You can also spot wild burros wandering freely into campsites. The only downside to this campground is the mens room near some of the campsites that was not kept clean. The shower heads are also not great and the wind can be strong. Cell phone towers are located within 200 yards of the campground, providing good signal for Verizon and T-Mobile users. The staff at the park is not very helpful and the sheriff does not do much to ensure a safe and peaceful environment. Despite these issues, the park is still a great place to relax and appreciate the beauty of the desert.
