Pleasant Harbor RV Resort is a large park in Peoria, AZ, with an attached marina. There are three levels of sites available with improving views - $23, $28, and $33 per day. The $33 sites are very nice but may not be the best option for those with big rigs due to the steep hill to get up to them. The facilities all looked first class, but some guests reported issues with packing the dirt on the sites and poor sewage dump conditions. Dry camping for three days was an option, and there was plenty of space. The view of Lake Pleasant from the campsite was beautiful with free-roaming donkeys adding a unique touch. There was some garbage around the lake, but overall, the campground was quiet and clean. There were some full-timers with a lot of stuff around their sites, but most kept them tightly managed. The laundry facility was good, and the staff was nice. The camping in the Cactus Wren lot was a basic, flat piece of dirt with porta-potties and trash bins nearby but still a good choice when other sites were unavailable. Glamorous camping seems to be an attractive option in this resort site.
