This campground is located in a great location for visiting North Phoenix, with easy highway access off the 17 and 101. The facility is large and offers two rows of decent pull-thrus for transients. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing a packet of tourist information when you check in. There are outdoor shuffleboard, bocce, putting area, and golf net for full swings. The only showers are in the pool area and the configuration is very weird, but all bathroom facilities are always clean. The sites are too close together, and many of the full timers are run down, which can make you feel uncomfortable. The neighborhood is not the greatest, with light industrial and a motor cycle training school nearby. You will hear motor cycle and airplane noise all the time. Wi-Fi is no longer free and there is no security - the gate is wide open day and night.
