What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located on the Fort Apache Tribal lands in Pinetop, AZ, and is owned and operated by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. It is a surprisingly large park, with many seasonal and full-time tenants, and offers full hook-ups including water, electricity, sewer, cable, and internet. The roads and sites are dirt and gravel, and the park is laid out like a maze, making it difficult to find spaces in the dark. The original part of the park has faded signage and needs some work, but the new area is in Ponderosa Pine with lots of big trees and open space. There are individual showers with toilets, a laundry room, and a great WiFi connection. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the campers are pleasant. There are many things to do in the area, and the park is close to Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Big-O Tires, and a good-sized RV store. The fire pits are not cleaned out, and the site surfaces are concrete pads with a fire ring, picnic table, and patio. The park is a great place to spend a few weeks in the cool pines, but the roads have some pot holes and navigating the park can be challenging.
