Hospital Flat Campground is located in the Coronado National Forest and offers a peaceful retreat for visitors seeking to escape the heat of the desert. The campground is situated in a cool mountain meadow, surrounded by wildflowers and a small creek. The campground offers 10 semi-secluded tent-only sites, each with a picnic table and fire grill. Vault toilets are available on-site. The campground is open from April 15 to November 14 and is first-come, first-served. Vehicles longer than 22 feet are not recommended due to the difficulty of negotiating the switchbacks on AZ 366. Pack and saddle stock are not permitted in the campground.
