Roper Lake State Park is a great place to stay if youre looking for a peaceful, convenient campground. The sites are large and clean, and the facilities are well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the town of Safford has a unique vibe. The park has wide, paved roads, and the sites have a cement pad and gravel spaces. There is a nice clubhouse with a kitchen area, TV couches and lounge chairs, a large pool and hot tub, and a clean laundry with 6 washers and dryers. There is also a dog run and tent camping area that is being updated. There are plenty of nearby stores, including Walmart, Safeway, Bashes, and Thriftee. The park is great for a few nights when youre driving through the area, and the staff are willing to prorate the rent if you need to leave early.

The park manager is accommodating and manages facilities in a professional manner. The park offers a hot tub and a kind and loving manager who cares about her people that live in the park more than anything else.
