There is a lake across the road with a boat launch, and a few trails for hiking. Some sites are close together, but the scenery is beautiful. Show Low Campground is a great place to stay if you want to be close to town but still feel like youre camping in the forest. Located just a mile south of town, this campground offers 30 amp power sites, but no water or sewer hookups. The interior roads are brand new gravel and each site has a picnic bench, fire ring, and barbecue. The campground is open year round and there are discounts available with a Golden Age Pass. There is a lake across the road with a boat launch and some trails for hiking. The campground is busy on weekends, but the scenery is beautiful and the weather is pleasantly cool. There are also bathrooms with wooden barn looking doors and a 5 gallon bucket in the corner for trash. The campground is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.
