It offers full hookups with 20, 30, and 50-amp power poles, as well as underground water spigots that are insulated for the winter months. The ground is freshly graveled each spring and graded level, making it easy for RVers to park their vehicles. There are also young trees on the property that provide the potential for shade as they mature. While some sites dont have picnic tables, Don the camp host can provide one at check-in or find one nearby. The laundry room is well-maintained and has a book and DVD exchange, so campers can watch a movie before bed. However, the Wi-Fi is limited, and over-the-air TV scanning produced no channels. A Safeway grocery store is a 5-minute drive from the campground, and the town of Showlow is within an hours drive for those who need to make larger purchases. Although there are no playgrounds for kids, there is a large, flat oval drive where children can ride bikes. Additionally, the property offers ample space for walking dogs. While bathroom and shower facilities are not yet available, improvements are planned for the future. Payments at the campground are accepted in the form of checks, and credit card payments are processed by taking a picture of your card and sending it to the owner. Its important to let the owners know if there are any delays in your arrival or cancellations to uphold your responsibility and ensure that others are not needlessly turned away. Overall, this is a nice RV park that offers no-frills amenities for a pleasant stay, whether passing through for one night or staying for a few days.
