The campground is under reconstruction, but despite this, it is an honest and quiet country RV resort that offers dry and hookup campsites. The 35 amp service and WiFi work well, and Verizon service is also reliable. The whole campground is quiet and surrounded by open space, and there are plenty of sites to choose from. Beautiful hikes along the Santa Cruz river are nearby, and there are amazing artist shops in Tubac just down the road. The interesting history of the area is also displayed in a nearby museum. Overall, Sunflower Camp is a perfect choice if you are looking for a natural and quiet camping experience, away from the hustle and bustle of concrete camping areas near highways.

Sunflower Camp is a peaceful and quiet campground located in Tubac, Arizona. The campground offers spacious sites for RVs up to 60 feet long, with no concrete or asphalt. The power is limited, but the campground is well-maintained with a groomed road and footpath. The Tubac Market and several restaurants are nearby for groceries and dining. The campground is pet-friendly and has a walking path that pets love. Visitors can enjoy the sound of the train's horn that makes the coyotes sing and the beautiful sunsets. The campground hosts Friday night music during the February festival. Reservations are helpful to secure a spot, and it's good to call with an estimated time of arrival so the staff can help with parking. The campground is retiring after April 2023, and no sites will be available after that.
