Bar J Campground is a unique 55+ park located a few miles south of Tucson, Arizona. It is a peaceful and quiet place with good Verizon coverage and great OTA television reception. The sites are spacious and feature a concrete patio with a decorative wall, a stand for a grill, water at the grill area, Saguaro Cactus and other local shrubs around the patio, and local lighting at night. There is a pavilion with a tropical theme, free laundry (washing machines) and clothes lines for drying, and a Tiki Bar/Patio with Waterfall for hosting parties with advance notice to the owners. The park is comprised of mostly seasonal campers and some that are working in the area. It is off the beaten track and does not have a pool or other amenities, but is a great place for those looking for a quiet place near Tucson.
