The park offers a plethora of activities for its guests to partake in, from organized events to hiking trails within the Tucson Mountain Park. Fellow RV campers are happy to impart their knowledge of the local area and provide recommendations. Its worth noting that the park does not have any security measures in place, past incidents include stolen trailers and missing packages. Nonetheless, the friendly staff and social atmosphere make Desert Trails RV Park a wonderful place to stay while in Tucson.

The park offers 200+ sites with 30/50-amp RV hookups and stunning views of the desert. Guests can enjoy a heated pool, laundry facilities, library, weight room, and scheduled events such as live music, Irish dancers, musicals, bingo, and cookouts. The park is surrounded by 62 miles of beautiful hiking and biking trails, and guests can explore nearby attractions such as the Pima Air and Space Museum, Saguaro National Park, and Old West in Tucson.
