It is a first-come, first-serve campground with no reservations, and it costs $35 a day. The sites are level, FHU and spacious enough to park a vehicle next to the RV. The campground is located in a large gravel lot, and the spaces are generally close together, making it a tight fit for large rigs. Utilities including power, water, and sewer worked fine, and there are two cell towers on site providing strong cell signal. The Fairgrounds hosts frequent events, so there is a lot of people/RVs coming and going, but it is generally a very quiet place to stay. There is plenty of room to stretch your legs or walk your pets, including a nature trail within the property. The only downside to the location is the noise that comes from the nearby race track, where someone appears to be always practicing or doing something. However, if you dont mind this or if youre here for the events, its a great place to stay. Overall, its a well-maintained and friendly site with all the essential amenities you need and near enough to town for your shopping and dining needs.
