Constellation Park Campground is a great spot for horse enthusiasts and rodeo-goers alike. Located directly across the street from the rodeo grounds, the campground offers 35 dry camp sites with plenty of desert shade trees and wide spacing for privacy. The sites are primitive, so all camping must be self-contained. The campground opens onto state and BLM land, which can be accessed with a permit, and the location is conveniently close to downtown Wickenburg for shopping and restaurants. The park is perfect for an overnight stay, but it can get crowded when there are events scheduled, so plan ahead and arrive early. There are no hookups or restroom facilities, but Hospitality RV Park just east of Wickenburg provides a dump station for a small fee. Verizon cell service is good with a wifi booster, and the star-gazing show is spectacular with no lights to compete with. Constellation Park is a great spot for a peaceful stay in the Wickenburg area.
