This campground is located in the historic town of Wickenburg and is a great spot for an overnight or two. The sites are fairly tight, with no shade, and the power is strong. There is a large covered common area with tables, chairs, and a nice grill for all to use. The new owner is renovating the park, which was formerly known as Western Hills RV, and has added cement patio slabs on a level gravel lot. The host is pleasant and helpful, as evidenced by his quick response when our dog ran away. The atmosphere is not ideal, however, as there are some neighbors that are not the kind of folks that one would typically want to camp with. The noise from the road traffic on two sides of the park can also be quite loud. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is conveniently located and is a good option for a short stay.

Loose Horse RV Park is a RV park and stables located in Wickenburg, AZ. The park offers 30 RV spaces for rent, 12 horse stalls, and places for overnight camping for friends on motorcycles and bicycles. All units include water, WiFi, and cable TV. The park also features restrooms with ADA showers, coin operated washers and dryers, covered patio, fire pit, BBQ, and fenced in pet area. There's plenty of on-site parking and storage. The park is known for its friendly staff and reasonable prices. Visitors have praised the park for its clean and welcoming atmosphere, and the manager, Pace, who goes out of his way to make sure travelers have a safe place to park.
