From The Campground
Rose Creek Campground is located in Tonto National Forest between the Salome and the Sierra Ancha Wilderness areas. This campground offers 5 camp units with picnic tables and grills, but no trash service. The area offers trails and trailheads all within 5 miles of the campground. There is no water available at the campground, and trailers under 16 feet are recommended. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, and running generators are not permitted during quiet hours. The campground has a 14-day stay limit, and a sewage dump facility is located at the Globe Chamber of Commerce trailer dump or at facilities located 7 miles west of State Hwy. 288 on State Hwy. 88. The facilities are on the north side of the road between the Grapevine and Schoolhouse recreation sites. There are no fees or passes required to camp at Rose Creek Campground.
