Carefree Village is a large and modern campground with 400+ sites and plenty of amenities. It is located a mile off the highway and is very quiet. The sites are huge and gravel, with 50 amp full hookups and concrete pads for chairs and tables. The park has two swimming pools, two hot tubs, a bowling alley, a workout room, a pool table, a ping pong table, a mini golf course, several pickleball courts, several shuffleboard courts, a couple bocce courts, and card rooms with tables. There are also organized activities like dances, cookouts, and games. The park also provides wireless internet for an additional fee. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the park is kept very clean. Unfortunately, the Wifi is unreliable and the laundry room is congested. There are also a lot of rules to follow. Despite these issues, Carefree Village is a great place to stay with plenty of activities and amenities to enjoy.
